Carbon Groundz (“Agency,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates groundz.digital and provides digital marketing, branding, web development and related services from offices in India and the UAE. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this site — including the Shop, Checkout and My Account areas — why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
Information We Collect
Contact and chat. When you use the on-site chat assistant, submit the contact form, or message us on WhatsApp or email, we receive whatever you type or send us — typically your name, contact details, and the nature of your enquiry.
Account and checkout. Creating an account or placing an order collects your name, email, phone number, billing address, Company Name and (optional) Tax ID/GST number, and a record of the services and packages purchased. If your order requires a signed service contract, we also store the exact contract text shown to you and the signature you draw at checkout, as a permanent signed record attached to that order.
Client dashboard. Once you’re a client, your account dashboard shows the services you’ve purchased, delivery/progress status we update on our side, your countersigned contract, and any support requests you raise with us there. If your package includes performance reporting, your dashboard links out to your whitelabeled reporting subdomain (built on Octoboard); we do not embed or copy that reporting data into this site — it lives on that subdomain, operated for us by Octoboard as a sub-processor.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Razorpay and/or WooCommerce Payments. We do not receive or store your full card number, CVV, or bank credentials — those go directly to our payment processor, who is separately responsible for handling them securely.
Automatically collected data. Like most websites, our server and cookies automatically log your IP address, browser/device type, and pages visited, and WooCommerce sets session cookies so your cart and login persist as you browse.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the cart, checkout and account login, and a temporary cookie to detect if your browser accepts cookies. If you comment on a blog post, you may opt in to a cookie that remembers your name, email and website for next time (kept for one year). We do not use third-party advertising cookies on this site.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and administer your account and deliver the services you’ve purchased
- To process payment, issue invoices, and prepare and countersign your service contract
- To respond to support requests raised through your dashboard, chat, WhatsApp or email
- To send order confirmations, service updates, and — only if you don’t opt out — occasional updates about our services
- To detect and prevent fraud, spam and abuse
Who We Share Your Data With
We don’t sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary to run the business:
- Payment processors (Razorpay, WooCommerce Payments) to process your order
- Octoboard, to power your whitelabeled reporting subdomain if your package includes it
- Our hosting and email-delivery providers, who store and transmit this site’s data on our behalf
- Where required by law, regulation, or a valid legal request
How Long We Keep Your Data
Order and contract records are kept for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after, to meet our accounting, tax and legal obligations. If you leave a blog comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so follow-up comments from you can be recognized automatically. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data at any time, subject to what we’re legally required to retain.
Your Rights
Depending on where you’re located — including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, UAE data protection law, or the EU/UK GDPR for visitors from those regions — you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent for optional communications at any time. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — encrypted connections, access controls, and reputable third-party processors for payments and hosting — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and individuals who can lawfully enter into a contract, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
